About the Founder

Nitesh Misal

I was not born into opportunity.
I was born into uncertainty.

I am the Founder of Aarine Foundation, working to improve access to education for vulnerable children and promote women empowerment through sustainable support systems.

My journey began in a Municipal School in Kurla, Mumbai, while my family lived in plastic huts along the roadside. I experienced financial hardship early in life — studying barefoot, facing uncertainty around school fees, and even dropping out of engineering due to financial constraints. With the support of teachers, well-wishers, and my own efforts as a newspaper boy, I restarted my academic journey and successfully completed my graduation.

These experiences shaped my purpose. I have seen how easily education can stop for a child due to financial barriers, and how strong women often remain unsupported despite carrying families through difficult circumstances. This understanding led me to establish Aarine Foundation.

Through our work, we focus on education support, skill development for women, and structured programs that create long-term impact for vulnerable communities. My approach to social work is grounded in ethics, transparency, and sustainable change.

Over the years, our work has been appreciated by community leaders, institutions, and partners who believe in responsible and impact-driven social initiatives.

My belief is simple: when education continues and women are empowered, families and communities move forward with dignity.
